Notes: Not sure about flooding since I have not had a chance to walk outside yet. I was woken up by heavy rain, thunder and lightening around 1:30am, it lasted for approximately 3 (!) hours. My rain gauge had 0.40 of precip in it when I went to bed after a 9pm thunderstorm. This early morning storm felt (we could literally feel it inside our house) bigger and louder. Surprising to have so much lightening and thunder at this time of day.
