Notes: Thunderstorm with 5 minutes of pea to grape sized hail for 5 minutes followed by substantial rain for 18 additional minutes. Slowed to a misty rain with thunder and lightning all around for an additional 13 minutes. Returned to heavy rain with a short time of pea sized and smaller hail. Rain continued for 9 minutes with large hail of quarter size and smaller coming down for 3 minutes. Rain continued with thunderstorm warning being announced to be in affect until 4am (at 10pm for Denver County).

Notes: Storm started 8:45 with rain turning to hail which appears to be pea sized. Initially the ground was evenly covered with hailed but it has melted or floated away. Approximately 2" depth of rain around my house which has no drainage. Street gutters are flowing with no overtopping of sidewalk. Sheet and ball lightning with thunder within several seconds. It is not safe to go outside to check gauge accumulation. Storm appears to be moving northerly a this point. (9:25)
