Notes: Wow -- a furious storm with very strong winds as rain began gusts likely near 50
mph with near zeo visibility for about 90 seconds. likely severe undercatch of rain at
that time but observed rainfall rate was still over 5"/hour for a few minutes. Hail
bgan just about 3:01pm and lasted 3 minutes == loud and furious initiallly coming in at
a 7o degree angle. Thought it wouldbreak our north facing windows from how it sounded, but
no stones were quite big enough. See hail report to follow. Almost certainly a
significant undercatch but still a lot of rain majority fell from 3 - 3:08 pm
