The snow has almost stopped falling. The wind has died to nothing. The new snow and total
snow are best ideas based on several measurements because there was a lot of drifting this
afternoon. I cleared 3 spots each time I measured to try to find a location that would
give me a more true reading of the new snow that fell between each measurement. I ended up
taking an average of the three, but only to a whole number. The same is true for the total
snow. I will put on snowshoes in the morning and take more measurements of the totals to
get a better measurement of totals. For now, it looks like 42" is about right
overall. Crazy!
