Notes: Ob at 945 pm, temp was down to 25, wind quite light now with S--. Another
2.5" since 500pm, very light in weigh. Snow has not accumulated much at all since
~8pm. A real variable SLR. Ranged from 7.7:1 for yesterday, rising to 10:1 last evening
but then falling to 7.6:1 for the snow overnight.
My SLR improved to 10:1 for the period 0700-noon, then from noon to about 8pm it was
snowing, mainly S+ with big flakes from a little before no0n until 945pm lots of heavy
snow with big flakes = 11.5" accumulation with 0.42 melted gives an SLR of 27:1. The
24.4" total makes it my 4th biggest storm (records east of Boulder since 1980),
barely edging out the Oct 1997 storm.
