* Until 815 PM MDT.
* At 619 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small
stream flooding in the advisory area. Nearly stationary
thunderstorms are producing heavy rain. Storms will remain in the
Denver metro area for at least the next hour.

Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Thornton, Arvada, Westminster,
Centennial, southwestern Broomfield, Highlands Ranch, southern
Commerce City, Littleton, Northglenn, Englewood, Wheat Ridge,
Golden, Greenwood Village, Federal Heights, Lone Tree, southwestern
Denver International Airport and Sheridan.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
