CENTRAL LINCOLN COUNTIES UNTIL 445 PM MDT...
At 409 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles northwest of Cottonwood Valley to 3
miles south of Matheson, or along a line extending from 35 miles
south of Fort Morgan to 19 miles southwest of Limon. Movement was
east at 20 mph.
Penny size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Limon, Simla, Agate, Cottonwood Valley, Last Chance and Matheson.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

northeastern and east central Colorado.
