At 550 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles northeast of Arapahoe Park, or 16 miles east of Denver, moving
southeast at 10 mph.
Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Aurora, Arapahoe Park, Watkins, Buckley AFB and Manila Village.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up
to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Southern Denver, western Aurora, Centennial, Highlands Ranch,
Littleton, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Lone Tree, Sheridan,
Cherry Hills Village, Cherry Creek Reservoir and Columbine.

At 423 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles northeast of Roggen to Arapahoe Park,
or along a line extending from 25 miles southeast of Greeley to 15
miles east of Denver. Movement was east at 10 mph.
Locally heavy rain, Half inch hail and wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph
will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Eastern Denver, Aurora, Centennial, Commerce City, Brighton,
Greenwood Village, Denver International Airport, D.I.A Terminal and
Concourses, Hudson, Bennett, Keenesburg, Wiggins, Arapahoe Park,

At 444 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported a landspout tornado
over southeast Morgan county. Conditions continue to favor the
potential for landspouts as storms develop; however at this time it
is unknown which if any storm would produce a landspout. Any
landspouts which develop are expected to pose a limited threat.
Locations impacted include...
Gary, Twelve-Mile Corner, Adena School and Adena.
Landspout tornadoes can form with a developing thunderstorm before
rain, hail, and even thunder is observed. Landspout tornadoes are not
usually associated with a wall cloud and are often difficult to
detect with weather radar.
