At 954 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking the leading edge of
showers and thunderstorms along a line extending from 4 miles
southeast of Lochbuie to 8 miles south of Bennett to 3 miles south
of Elbert, or along a line extending from 24 miles northeast of
Denver to 74 miles southwest of Akron to 27 miles northeast of
Colorado Springs. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these showers
and storms.
Locations impacted include...
Aurora, eastern Commerce City, eastern Parker, Brighton, Elbert,
Denver International Airport, D.I.A Terminal and Concourses, Fort
Lupton, Lochbuie, Hudson, Bennett, Elizabeth, Keenesburg, Kiowa,
Simla, Strasburg, Byers, Riverside Reservoir, Roggen and Manila
Village.
