At 555 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty winds from high
based showers over eastern Centennial, or 11 miles southeast of
Denver, moving northeast at 20 mph.
Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with these showers.
Locations impacted include...
Southern Denver, Aurora, eastern Centennial, Parker, Greenwood
Village, Lone Tree, Arapahoe Park and Buckley AFB.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
If on or near Cherry Creek Reservoir, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle.
