...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of central Arapahoe
County through 415 PM MDT...
At 339 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
capable of producing a landspout tornado along a line extending from
6 miles southwest of Strasburg to 3 miles west of Arapahoe Park, or
along a line extending from 45 miles northwest of Limon to 12 miles
southeast of Denver. These storms were nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Landspouts possible.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Landspout tornadoes can damage mobile homes, roofs,
vehicles, and trees. Outdoor objects may be tossed about.
Locations impacted include...
Aurora, northeastern Centennial, Bennett, Buckley SFB, Arapahoe Park
and Strasburg.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
If a tornado is spotted seek shelter inside a sturdy building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
northeastern Colorado.
