the elevated fire danger today and avoid activities that could
produce open flames.

.A storm system will bring increasing snow to the northern
Colorado mountains this afternoon, with heavy snow likely this
evening and into Thursday. Across the plains, rain and snow
showers will turn to all snow later this evening and overnight
and continue into Thursday. The biggest travel impacts will be
tonight with some collection of snow and ice on roadway surfaces
leading to winter driving conditions. Lesser impacts on Thursday
due to snow melting on warm surfaces.

.A storm system will bring increasing snow to the northern
Colorado mountains this afternoon, with heavy snow likely later
this afternoon and into Thursday. Much uncertainty remains about
where this heavy snow will be and how much snow will come with it,
but the threat appears greatest along the northern Colorado
border and in and near the northern foothills. Snow will continue
into Friday afternoon and evening, but at this time it looks like
it will be lighter then. The biggest travel impacts will be
tonight with lesser impacts on Thursday due to snow melting on
warm surfaces.
