At 503 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles east of Morrison to 5 miles east of
Westcreek, or along a line extending from 10 miles southwest of
Denver to 25 miles northwest of Colorado Springs. Movement was
northeast at 35 mph.
Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Southern Denver, Aurora, southeastern Lakewood, Centennial, Highlands
Ranch, Castle Rock, Parker, Littleton, Englewood, Greenwood Village,
Lone Tree, Roxborough Park, Sheridan, Larkspur, Perry Park, The
Pinery, Franktown, Buckley AFB, Chatfield Reservoir and Devil's Head.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
