...SNOWFALL IN THE COLORADO MOUNTAINS TONIGHT...
.A late Spring weather system will move over Colorado tonight and
Tuesday morning with cold enough temperatures to produce snowfall
in the mountains. Snow levels are expected to drop as low as 7500
feet by Tuesday morning with accumulating snowfall above 9000
feet. Roadways will become slippery and slushy by Tuesday morning
and snow falling on trees in full leaf may cause branches to break
or other tree damage. The storm system will be moving out of the
state by Tuesday afternoon with snowfall ending and conditions
improving.

Denver to 39 miles north of Hayden Pass Burn Scar, moving northeast
at 65 mph.
These are very dangerous storms.

...DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WITH HIGH WINDS TODAY AND
SUNDAY...
.Strong winds will continue before gradually weakening by mid
evening. This will allow fire danger to alleviate somewhat
overnight with lighter winds. However, winds will become quite
gusty once again on Sunday while humidities will be lower, leading
to another day of high fire danger where fuels are drier.
The higher fire danger will also encompass the southern Front
Range Foothills and South Park on Sunday, despite today's
generally light rainfall amounts.

Warning FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY, which is in effect
from noon to 9 PM MDT Sunday.
* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 214 and 216.
* Winds...Southwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* Timing...Noon to 9 PM Sunday, when winds are strongest and
humidities lowest.
* Relative Humidity...As low as 13 percent.
* Impacts...Rapid fire spread and growth will be possible in this
windy and dry airmass.
