...ANOTHER DAY OF CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS...
Another round of strong and gusty winds will occur today, this
time from the northwest. The airmass will remain quite dry in
spite of cooler temperatures. The Red Flag Warning will be in
effect for areas that haven't seen appreciable snowfall lately,
and has been expanded to include the southern Front Range
Foothills where south and west facing slopes will be prone to fire
spread.

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from noon today to 7 PM MDT this evening.
* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zone 216.
* Timing...Noon until 7 PM MDT this evening.
* Winds...West 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.
* Relative Humidity...As low as 15 percent.
* Impacts...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread.
Avoid outdoor burning and any activities that may produce
sparks.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
