...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MST THIS
EVENING...
* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch.
Winds gusting as high as 75 mph, creating extensive reductions
in visibility due to blowing snow.
* WHERE...The Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range,
and the Indian Peaks, Rocky Mountain National Park and the
Medicine Bow Range and East Slopes Park and Northern Gore
Ranges, Gore Pass, Rabbit Ears Pass.
* WHEN...Until 9 PM MST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility. Very strong winds
could cause extensive tree damage. The cold wind chills as low
as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as
little as 30 minutes.
