SOUTHWESTERN JEFFERSON COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM MDT...
At 442 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Deckers, or 33 miles southwest of Denver, moving northwest at 10 mph.
Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm. Hail may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous travel.
Locations impacted include...
Buffalo Creek, Wellington Lake, Conifer, Pine Grove, Sprucewood,
South Platte, Cheesman Reservoir, Deckers, Pine Junction, Bailey and
Aspen Park.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways. Slow down to avoid hydroplaning
