...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MST SUNDAY
NIGHT...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10
inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph this evening, then
decreasing overnight.
* WHERE...The Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range,
and the Indian Peaks.
* WHEN...Until midnight MST Sunday night.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring
down tree branches.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snowfall rates and strongest winds
will occur this evening before midnight with the passage of a
cold front. Conditions will improve thereafter, with another
increase in snowfall rates Sunday afternoon into the evening.
