...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM MST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches.
Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.
* WHERE...Rabbit Ears Pass, Rocky Mountain National Park and the
Medicine Bow Range and The Mountains of Summit County, the
Mosquito Range, and the Indian Peaks.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM MST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult, especially over the higher
mountain passes. Areas of blowing snow could significantly
reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the
morning or evening commutes. The cold wind chills as low as 30
below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as
30 minutes.
