.A Spring snowstorm will move into the region today and continue
into Wednesday with multiple rounds of moderate to heavy snow at
across central and north central Colorado. Moderate to heavy snow
will begin in the mountains this afternoon and spread east this
evening. The best chance for accumulating snow below 6,000 feet is
across eastern Larimer and western Weld Counties. A final wave of
snow will likely hit the mountains Tuesday night. Travel through
the mountains will be significantly impacted from later this
afternoon into Tuesday. Stay tuned for additional updates.

BOULDER COUNTIES UNTIL 615 PM MDT...
At 513 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers and a
couple thunderstorms extending from near Natural Fort to near
Dumont, or along a line extending from 12 miles southwest of
Cheyenne to 34 miles west of Denver. Movement was east at 35 mph.
Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible as these showers and
storms approach your area.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Collins, Greeley, Lakewood, Arvada, Westminster, Boulder,
Longmont, Loveland, Broomfield, Wheat Ridge, Lafayette, Golden,
Windsor, Evans, Louisville, Erie, Evergreen, Superior, Firestone and
Johnstown.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

At 435 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms along a line
extending from 5 miles northwest of Cherokee Park to near Mt
Audubon, or along a line extending from 21 miles south of Laramie to
42 miles northwest of Denver. Movement was east at 45 mph.
Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Collins, Boulder, western Longmont, western Loveland, Lafayette,
Louisville, Wellington, Estes Park, Berthoud, Lyons, Granby, Trail
Ridge, Nederland, Kremmling, Fraser, Bear Lake, Hot Sulphur Springs,
Walden, Grand Lake and Jamestown.
