At 358 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles southeast of Roggen to 3 miles
southwest of Strasburg, or along a line extending from 24 miles
southwest of Fort Morgan to 34 miles east of Denver. Movement was
northeast at 35 mph.
Penny size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Bennett, Hoyt, Strasburg, Leader, Byers and Adena.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
