1123 AM MDT Tue Apr 7 2020
...HIGH FIRE DANGER LEVELS EXPECTED OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS THIS
AFTERNOON...
.Warm temperatures and gusty winds are expected on the northern
plains again this afternoon. The warm, dry and breezy conditions
will combine with vegetation that has yet to come out of winter
dormancy to produce elevated fire conditions this afternoon.
While all of these conditions are in place, dangerous fire
behavior will be possible, should a fire get started. Residents
should be aware of the elevated fire danger today and avoid
activities that could produce open flames.
