URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...FREEZING DRIZZLE AND SNOW ALONG WITH MUCH COLDER AIR MOVING
INTO NORTHEASTERN COLORADO...
.Freezing drizzle will spread across northeastern Colorado this
evening, reaching areas south of Interstate 70 by midnight. North
winds will gust to 35 mph and temperatures will drop into the
lower 20s. After midnight the freezing drizzle will change to
light snow, with most areas picking up accumulations of an inch or
two. Slightly higher amounts are possible in the foothills. Roads
will become icy and snow covered in some areas overnight. The
hazardous winter travel conditions will likely persist through
much of the Monday morning commute although the snow should be
ending during rush hour.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation of light freezing drizzle and snow
expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice
accumulations of a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 35
mph.
* WHERE...The northern Front Range Foothills, Fort Collins and
Greeley, and the the eastern plains along and north of the I-76
Corridor.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM MST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will likely impact the Monday morning commute.
