Here is the second installment of trainings being offered by the National Hydrologic Warning Council. This is a well-presented summary of what engineers and
hydrologists contribute to the flood prediction business.
For technical people this is a good review of very basic hydrologic sciences and what to expect for the future practice of this art. For non-hydrologists, it
provides a good general understanding of the challenges professionals face in forecasting flood impacts.
Your feedback is always welcome.
