Subject: ALERT Rainfall Alarm Notifications

If you are relying on text messages to be notified of heavy rainfall occurring at ALERT gages, please don’t.  We are currently unable to easily overcome security measures imposed by cellular providers.  Monitor https://alert5.udfcd.org or https://mhfd.onerain.com/ for real-time measurements from the ALERT System.

Some of you may receive text messages (MMS or SMS) from the ALERT System.  If you do, please let us know.  That would be helpful information for our troubleshooting experts. Thanks.

Stay alert today.

Kevin
