MEETING NOTICE:
MHFD’s 2020 F2P2/Flood Warning Services Review & Summer Monsoon Outlook
Presentations by meteorologists from Skyview Weather and the National Weather Service will cover their respective
forecast and notification services, new developments, and outlooks concerning this year’s summer monsoon. This is the time of year that historically poses the greatest risk of life-threatening flash floods to our region.
F2P2 partners will also be updated on
E-notifications,
ALERT 5, EMWIN, and other services. MHFD’s project consultants will be available to answer questions and offer trainings.
This is a unique opportunity for you to help us further improve our early flood prediction, detection and notification
services.
With this being our very first virtual meeting due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we essentially have unlimited meeting
space. We would, however, appreciate receiving your RSVP to this meeting notice.
Feel free to invite your colleagues.
This year marks our 42nd year of providing flood prediction and notification services to our local government
partners. Thank you all for helping make this program a continuing success.
