-Message 1's will be allowed to expire at 10:00 PM as the threat for heavy rainfall has ended for the day now temperatures have cooled into the 60's to lower 70's over the plains.
-Outflow boundary from storms earlier today over east, southeast and southern areas of the District worked its way to the NW and did not produce any additional thunderstorm activity. Now that the atmosphere has stabilized over the plains the threat for heavy rainfall has ended.
-A few weak showers in the NW flow aloft may produce a few isolated light rain showers over the District into the early overnight period. Any additional rainfall will be light and very isolated with most ares remaining dry.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Isolated rain showers and possibly a weak thunderstorm will produce a trace to 0.20".
