-	N/NW flow aloft today will result in dry conditions with mostly sunny skies during the day with partly cloudy skies this afternoon.
-	High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 70's on the plains this afternoon. Overnight lows will drop into the low 50's heading into Wednesday.
-	Wednesday will start off mild before a weak disturbance moves in during the afternoon bringing a chance for rain showers and isolated thunderstorms with a slight chance for rain showers to persist into the evening.

A LOOK AHEAD: Wednesday will usher in a more active weather pattern over the next several days. Temperatures will remain seasonal in the 70's to low 80's through the rest of the week with rain chances increasing over the next few days. Best chance for heavy rain will be Thursday afternoon and evening with a slight chance of seeing some severe weather Thursday evening.
