MESSAGE 1'S ISSUED FOR THE ENTIRE DISTRICT
-Message 1's have been issued for the entire District and will be valid from Noon to 9:00 PM.
-Showers and thunderstorms will be on the increase through the early afternoon with multiple rounds of storms moving through into the early evening. Thunderstorms that develop today will be very capable of producing heavy rainfall that may lead to excessive runoff and possibly flash flooding. Strong thunderstorms may also produce large hail and gusty straight-line winds in excess of 50mph.
-Best chances for thunderstorm activity will be from 1-9pm. Strongest storms will likely favor the plains versus the foothills. Storm motions will generally be from W to E at around 15mph but stronger storms may move more erratically.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Weak to moderate thunderstorms will produce 0.1-0.6" in 10-30 minutes. Strong thunderstorms will produce 0.6-1.4" in 10-30 minutes.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: A slower moving large thunderstorm or training of thunderstorm cells may result in up to 3.0" in 90 minutes or less.
