-Message 1's will be allowed to expire at 10:00pm as the threat for heavy rainfall has come to an end.
-Heavier showers and thunderstorms that impacted portions of the District early have weakened and moved east of the area. A cool and saturated airmass remains in place, which will result in pockets of light rain and drizzle through the late evening and overnight hours.
-Toward daybreak Sunday, scattered light rain showers are expected to re-develop across the District as another upper level disturbance approaches, but only minor rainfall amounts are expected with rainfall rates of less than 0.25"/hour.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Showers will produce rainfall amounts of TR-0.2" in 30-60 minutes.
