Heavy Precipitation Outlook
Flash Flood Prediction Program

COOLER TODAY WITH CONTINUED HAZY AND DRY CONDITIONS
-Cooler today as high temperatures remain more seasonably in the mid 70's to around 80 across the plains with low 70's along the foothills.
-A weak cold front will move through the region today bringing breezy N/NE winds with gusts up to 15mph. Unfortunately no precipitation is expected with this front and it will only enhance the amount of haze along the I-25 corridor this afternoon and evening.
-Overnight temperatures drop into the mid to upper 50's for the plains with mid to upper 40's along the foothills.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No precipitation expected today or this evening. Supplemental QPF is available at https://qpf.udfcd.org

A LOOK AHEAD: High-pressure returns Thursday as high temperatures jump back into the mid to upper 80's. Hazy and dry conditions will continue across the region Thursday and Friday. Saturday's temperatures will remain in the 80's with a very slight chance for an isolated rain shower/thunderstorm in the foothills and along the Palmer Divide during the afternoon. A slightly better chance for rain showers/isolated thunderstorms Sunday which could help push out some haze heading into next week.
