WARMING UP AND REMAINING DRY
-High pressure will strengthen over Colorado today, resulting in much warmer temperatures and continued dry conditions.
-Highs today will reach the upper 80s to low 90s on the plains under mostly sunny skies with light and variable winds.
-Lows tonight will fall into the mid 50s on the plains under mostly clear skies.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No rainfall is expected today or tonight.

A LOOK AHEAD: Hot and dry conditions will continue on Sunday with highs approaching 90 on the plains. Some moisture will arrive from the southwest on Monday and Tuesday ahead of a weakening trough of low pressure. This will result in a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms both days, favoring the foothills, with only light rainfall amounts expected. Temperatures will remain above average for mid September.
