Heavy Precipitation Outlook
Flash Flood Prediction Program

GENERALLY DRY WITH WARMER TEMPERATURES, BECOMING BREEZY AT TIMES THIS AFTERNOON
-After a couple relatively cool days, warmer and drier air will move into the District today with temperatures warming into the mid 80's to around 90 along the I-25 corridor.
-Winds will become breezy at times from the W/SW this morning and W/NW this afternoon with gusts reaching or exceeding 20mph. There is enough moisture to generate a few convective clouds this afternoon and a brief rain shower or weak thunderstorm cannot be ruled out but most areas will end up on the dry side.
-If a shower or thunderstorm were to be observed best chances would be over the foothills and southern areas of the District over Douglas County. Meaningful rain is not expected.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No meaningful rain is expected, Trace to less than 0.1". Supplemental QPF is available at https://qpf.udfcd.org

A LOOK AHEAD: A cold front will move through overnight with many areas waking up to temperatures in the 40's on Monday with highs only in the 70's. A passing upper level disturbance will then produce a modest chance for late day rain showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Overnight Monday into Tuesday morning additional light shower activity is likely, ending before noon Tuesday.
