-High-pressure takes hold today leading to hot, dry conditions over the next several days.
-High temperatures today will reach the mid to upper 90's on the plains with mid to upper 80's in the foothills. A high-pressure ridge has set up over the region bringing dry conditions through the weekend.
-overnight lows will drop into the low to mid 60s with similar conditions Thursday.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No rainfall is expected today.

A LOOK AHEAD: hot and dry over the next several days with temperatures reaching 100 degrees Friday. The next possible chance for precipitation will be Sunday, although it looks minimal at best.
