-Light rain showers are currently moving through the District at this hour. This wave should be the last gasp of meaningful precipitation associated with our late-season trough of low pressure.
-Light to briefly-moderate rainfall rates will persist under heavier showers through about 2:00am, with shower coverage waning in coverage and intensity as the evening wears on.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Showers and isolated thunderstorms will produce rainfall amounts of 0.05-0.30" in 10-30 minutes.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: A persistent band of heavier showers or a thunderstorm produces rainfall up to 0.6" in 30-60 minutes.
