-Messages will be allowed to expire at 8:00 PM since the threat for heavy rainfall has come to an end.
-A strong line of nearly stationary thunderstorms formed along the eastern portion of the District this afternoon and early evening resulting in heavy rainfall for Adams County, Arapahoe County and the City of Aurora. Rainfall rates of up to 2" an hour resulted in multiple urban and small stream flood advisories and a Flash Flood Warning for Arapahoe County including the City of Aurora. Rain showers and thunderstorms have moved out of the District and onto the eastern plains at this time.
-Overnight lows will drop into the upper 50's to low 60's across the plains with low to mid 50's for the foothills. Skies will gradually clear into the evening. Sunday will be similar with high temperatures in the low 90's with another chance for afternoon and early evening rain showers/isolated thunderstorms.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No additional rain showers or thunderstorms expected for the rest of the evening.
