Heavy Precipitation Outlook
Flash Flood Prediction Program

PLEASANT, WARM, & DRY FOR TUESDAY
-Flat westerly flow aloft will transport much drier air into Colorado Tuesday, bringing a reprieve from the daily cycle of showers and thunderstorms we've seen as of late.
-Afternoon temperatures will climb to around 90 today, with plenty of sunshine expected across the region.
-Mostly clear and calm tonight, ahead of a weak cold front arriving late and lows in the mid to upper 50s.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No precipitation expected today or tonight.

A LOOK AHEAD: Temperatures will be slightly cooler Wednesday behind the front, with mid to upper 80s expected by afternoon. There may be enough moisture to spark a few isolated showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening, mainly over foothills and southern portions of the District.
