- | Message 1's have been issued for Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, and Denver Counties and will be valid until midnight tonight. Additional Message 1's maybe needed as the evening progresses. |
- | Thunderstorms have developed to the N and NW of the District and will be moving into the District shortly. Strong storms have a history of large hail and brief moderate to heavy rainfall. Storm motions of NW to SE at around 25mph will result in an heavy rainfall being brief but a quick 0.5"/10 mins is possible which may lead to excessive runoff roadways. Rainfall amounts of up to 1" are unlikely due to the fast storm motions and hail threat. |
- | Thunderstorms are expected to have exited the District by midnight with generally dry conditions after that time. |
WORST CASE SCENARIO: A slow moving strong thunderstorm or a very large thunderstorm may produce up to 1.6" in 45-60 minutes. Supplemental QPF is available at https://qpf.udfcd.org
