MESSAGES WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXPIRE AT 11:59PM
-Message 1's will be allowed to expire at 11:59pm as the threat for heavy rainfall has come to an end.
-Thunderstorm activity has significantly weakened across the District as the evening has progressed. Widely scattered showers and weak thunderstorms will continue possible through the overnight period as the jet stream remains located in a favorable region over NE Colorado. However, rainfall amounts for the rest of the night will generally be light.
-Overnight lows will fall into the upper 50s on the plains with areas of low clouds and fog possible early Saturday. Another very active day is expected on Saturday as deep moisture remains in place, with another round of strong to severe thunderstorms anticipated across the District.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Showers and weak thunderstorms will produce typical rainfall amounts of TR-0.2" in 10-30 minutes, with up to 0.4" possible in 10-30 minutes if a stronger storm develops.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: Training of thunderstorm cells results in rainfall of up to 0.7" in 60 minutes or less.
