MESSAGES WILL CONTINUE VALID
-Message 1's will continue valid until 8:00pm for the entire District.
-Moderate to strong thunderstorms that impacted the District earlier this afternoon have now moved north and east of the area. The airmass has stabilized for the time being, but if surface temperatures are able to warm sufficiently then additional thunderstorms would be possible, but are unlikely at this time.
-Dewpoints remain in the upper 40s to low 50s late this afternoon, so if additional thunderstorms manage to develop then heavy rainfall will be possible. Storm chances will decrease this evening once the airmass stabilizes with the loss of daytime heating.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Thunderstorms will be capable of producing rainfall amounts of 0.3-0.7" in 10-30 minutes.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: A strong thunderstorm or training of thunderstorms could produce 1.5" of rainfall in 45-75 minutes.
