-Message 1's will be allowed to expire at 10:00 pm as the threat for heavy rainfall has ended for the day.
-Light to moderate rain showers have been moving through the W and NW portions of the District over the past couple hours with the back edge of the shower activity currently moving off of the foothills and over the I-25 corridor. These showers have been producing 0.05-0.30" of rain as they pass through and will exit the District from SW to NE between 11:00pm and midnight. A nice, soaking rain will occur but excessive runoff is not expected.
-Additional isolated rain showers will continue possible overnight into the early morning hours on Saturday with light to briefly moderate intensities. Tomorrow, the threat for thunderstorms with the potential for heavy rainfall will continue with prime time during the afternoon and early evening hours.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Rain showers will produce a trace to 0.2". Moderate rain showers and weak to briefly moderate thunderstorms will have the potential to produce 0.2-0.4" in 10-30 minutes. Supplemental QPF is available at https://qpf.udfcd.org

WORST CASE SCENARIO: A moderate to strong thunderstorm is able to develop overnight with the potential to produce 0.4-1.2" in 10-30 minutes.
