MESSAGE 1'S ISSUED FOR THE ENTIRE DISTRICT
-Message 1's have been issued for the entire District and will be valid until 9:00 PM this evening.
-Thunderstorms are currently starting to initiate over the District at this time. Slow storm motions and modest surface moisture will result in stronger storms capable of producing heavy rainfall which may lead to excessive runoff and potentially flash flooding.
-Storms will move very slowly to the SE at 10mph or less. Stronger storms may become anchored and result in a prolonged period of heavy rainfall. Strong thunderstorms may also produce large hail.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Thunderstorms will be capable of producing rainfall of 0.3-0.9" in 10-30 minutes.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: A slow-moving thunderstorm or training of thunderstorm cells results in heavy rainfall of up to 2.0" in 60-90 minutes.
