A LOOK AHEAD: Strong ridging and very hot conditions will continue across the Desert Southwest through the remainder of this week and into the weekend. The record high of 99 degrees for June 18th was set in 2020 and will likely be broken tomorrow as temperatures soar into the upper 90's to low 100's followed by brief afternoon showers and thunderstorms. On Tuesday, high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90's with another round of afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
