Heavy Precipitation Outlook
Flash Flood Prediction Program

CONTINUED WARM WITH POSSIBLY AN ISOLATED HIGH BASED GUSTY SPRINKLE THIS AFTERNOON
-Temperatures will continue to run above seasonal averages today with highs topping out in the 70's over the plains. Normal high for Denver today is 67 degrees.
-Much like the past couple days most locations within the District will be dry with a slight chance for a very isolated high based rain shower or weak thunderstorm in the afternoon between the hours of 2-8pm. Showers and weak thunderstorms that manage to develop today will produce minimal rainfall and gusty winds.
-A cold front will move through overnight and may produce areas of low clouds into Monday morning. If the cloud deck is thick enough light mist or drizzle cannot be ruled out over the plains.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Isolated high based showers and weak thunderstorms will produce a trace to 0.10".

A LOOK AHEAD: Cooler Monday behind a cold front with highs in the 60's to around 70. Moisture will increase and so will the chance for afternoon thunderstorms some of which may be capable of producing moderate to possibly brief heavy rain. Unsettled weather will continue through the end of the work week.
