WARM TODAY WITH DRY CONDITIONS
-High-pressure begins to build over the region today leading to dry conditions over the next few days.
-Temperatures this morning started off cool, with temperatures dipping under freezing towards the northeastern portion of the District. Temperatures today will quickly warm into the upper 60's to low 70's with mostly sunny skies expected throughout the day today.
-Lows tonight will fall into the low 40's on the plains under partly cloudy skies.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No Rainfall is expected today.

A LOOK AHEAD: Warm and dry conditions persist through most of the week as high temperatures remain in the low 70's. Windy conditions possible during the day Thursday as a disturbance moves in overnight and into Friday. This disturbance will drop the high temperatures back into the low 60's with a chance for a brief afternoon rain shower/isolated thunderstorm.
