HOT, DRY AND BREEZY
-Behind the trough of low pressure that moved through yesterday conditions will be dry today but it will be hot with highs reaching the low to possibly mid 90's over the plains with 80's in the Front Range foothills. Winds will become breezy at times through the afternoon from the S/SW at 10-20mph with gusts to 30mph possible. Winds will be strongest over S/SE portions of the District with lighter winds NW areas.
-The hot temperatures, breezy winds and relative humidity values dropping into the 10-15% range when temperatures are at or near their peak will result in high fire danger today.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No precipitation expected today or tonight.

A LOOK AHEAD: Remaining hot and dry on Monday with temperatures a degree or two warmer than today. Tuesday temperatures continue to run in the 90's over the plains with possibly an isolated afternoon thunderstorm over the foothills.
