-A cool start to the day with temperatures in the 30s, but clouds have cleared and temperatures are currently in the 40's. Highs will top out in the upper 50's to lower 60's across the plains under mostly sunny skies. Normal high for Denver today is 69 degrees.
-Winds will become breezy from the S/SE over much of the District this afternoon in the 10-20mph range with gusts to 30mph possible. Lighter winds can be expected NW portions of the District.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No precipitation is expected today or tonight.

A LOOK AHEAD: Continued cool on Saturday with highs in the low to mid 60's over the plains under sunny to mostly sunny skies. Winds will turn to the N/NE and once again become breezy in the afternoon.
