-Message 1's will be allowed to expire at 8:30 PM as the threat for heavy rainfall has come to an end.
-A few isolated showers and weak thunderstorms will continue to move through the District over the next few hours before conditions completely dry out for the overnight period. Any shower activity should remain minimal although a few areas of isolated moderate showers will persist, although the threat for any additional heavy rainfall has ended due to the lack of daytime heating and a relatively stable atmosphere in place over the region at this time.
-Best chances for isolated shower and thunderstorm activity will be through 12:00 AM, with a very slight chance for any additional shower activity after midnight.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Isolated rain showers and weak thunderstorms will produce a trace to 0.3".

WORST CASE SCENARIO: A strong thunderstorm, or stationary thunderstorm will produce 0.3-0.5" in 60 minutes.
