MESSAGES WILL CONTINUE VALID
-Message 1's will continue valid until 9:00pm.
-Earlier thunderstorms have exited the District. A second round of weaker thunderstorms is currently approaching the District from the west. If any of these storms were to strengthen as they move into the District over the next 60-90 minutes, then moderate to brief heavy rains couldn't be ruled out.
-This next wave of storms is relatively fast-moving and should be exiting the District to the east by around 9:00pm.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Weak to moderate thunderstorms will produce rainfall amounts of 0.05-0.3" in 10-30 minutes. Strong thunderstorms will be capable of producing rainfall of 0.3-0.8" in 10-30 minutes.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: A slower moving or training of thunderstorm cells could result in heavy rainfall of up to 1.2" in 60 minutes or less
