DRY WITH A WARMING TREND UNDERWAY
-High pressure to the west will result in a dry NW flow aloft over the District today. Temperatures will warm into the 60's to lower 70's on the plains under sunny to mostly sunny skies.
-Light and variable winds this morning will become NE this afternoon with speeds generally under 10mph.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No precipitation expected today and tonight.

A LOOK AHEAD: Temperatures will continue to warm over the weekend with highs in the low to mid 70's over the plains on Saturday and mid to upper 70's on Sunday. Enough high and mid level moisture may result in a few isolated high based showers and thunderstorms producing more wind that rain over the weekend.
